Job summary

Ultimate Knowledge Institute is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the platform behind national cyber readiness.

You’ll own features end to end across UI, API, data model, and deployment, working across Angular and React, with a strong emphasis on scalable design, performance, and security.

This US-remote role requires clear communication and a bias for action as the team grows and embraces GitOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production web applications in a senior capacity.
• Full stack depth across UI, API, data model and deployment.
• Strong Node.js and Express experience with auth and API versioning.
• Deep Angular expertise with standalone components, signals, DI and routing.
• React experience and ability to work across both frameworks.
• Production PostgreSQL experience: schema, migrations, indexing.
• Cloud native delivery on Kubernetes with GitOps/CI/CD.
• Architecture judgment and trade-off explanations.
• Testing: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Continuous delivery mindset and operational excellence.
• Self-starter with proactive bias for action.
• Strong communication skills to defend decisions with execs.
• Must be a US citizen authorized to work in the United States; role is US-remote.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end across UI, API, data model and deployment.
• Design and evolve the API layer with typed interfaces and auth.
• Own the data model: Postgres schemas, migrations, indexing.
• Deliver rich, data-dense dashboards and adaptive features.
• Set stack standards for maintainability and testing.
• Engineer for performance: latency, throughput and bundle size.
• Ship continuously via GitOps and ArgoCD-driven deployments.
• Collaborate with product, design and customer teams; mentor engineers.
