Job summary

Ultimate Knowledge Institute is building a next‑generation platform to measure workforce readiness and fill competency gaps for federal and commercial clients. You’ll own end‑to‑end delivery across UI, API, and data models, collaborating with product and design teams to ship features in a secure, scalable environment.

The role emphasizes deep full‑stack capabilities, including Angular and React interfaces, Express API, PostgreSQL data modeling, and Kubernetes deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production web applications in a senior/lead capacity.
• Full stack depth across UI, API, data model, and deployment.
• Strong Node.js and Express experience with authentication, authorization, and testing.
• Deep Angular expertise with modern Angular features and performance tuning.
• React experience with Hooks and modern rendering patterns is highly valued.
• Production PostgreSQL experience including schema design and optimization.
• Cloud native delivery with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Hands-on GitOps/CI/CD using ArgoCD or Flux and Helm/Kustomize.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end from requirement to production across UI, API, data model, and deployment.
• Design and evolve the API layer with clear data contracts and typed interfaces.
• Own the Postgres data model, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
• Deliver rich data-dense dashboards and admin tooling for the platform.
• Set stack standards, including module boundaries, tests, observability, and code review.
• Improve performance across backend, database queries, and front-end rendering.
• Ship changes via GitOps in Kubernetes with automated tests and frequent deploys.
• Collaborate with product/design teams and mentor engineers as the team grows.
