Job summary

The Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) in South Carolina is seeking a Training Manager for the Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) System and SC-HART to support ESF 4 and ESF 9. You will lead training programs, develop exercises, and coordinate readiness across teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with relevant program experience, CDL eligibility within 12 months, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to deploy to incidents and large disasters.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.
• Combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered in substitution for the bachelor’s degree with HR approval.
• MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Possesses or can obtain CDL within 12 months and meet DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Training Manager for US&R and SC-HART in support of ESF 4 & 9.
• Provide program management for training and operational readiness.
• Manage training and education of SC-TF1 and assist five regional US&R teams.
• Lead, develop and coordinate training and exercises for SC-TF1 and SC-HART.
• Oversee data collection and database management of training records.
