Job summary

Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) seeks a Training Manager to lead US&R and SC-HART training programs, ensuring readiness across SC-TF1 and allied teams. You will steer curricula, exercises, and policy updates while coordinating multi-agency training efforts.

You will deploy to emergencies, mentor staff, and guide budgetary and purchasing decisions to sustain high performance in austere environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant program experience, or a combination of education, training, and experience accepted with HR approval.
• CDL within 12 months and ability to meet DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Training Manager for US&R System and SC-HART in support of ESF 4 & 9.
• Provide program management for training and operational readiness.
• Manage training and education of SC-TF1 members and assist five regional US&R teams.
• Lead, develop and coordinate training and exercises for SC-TF1 and SC-HART.
• Manage training data collection and database management of training records.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and curriculum meet current US&R standards.
• Develop operational and program policies and procedures.
• Deploy to emergencies and large-scale disasters as part of SC-TF1, SC-HART, SC-IST, CLEAR Team and FFMOB.
