Job summary

Gallagher Re's Global Program Solutions team seeks a highly experienced US Capacity Lead to expand carrier relationships and drive capacity strategies across the US market.

The role requires deep knowledge of the US carrier landscape, delegated authority structures, and program market dynamics, with strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills to engage carriers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience within the US insurance market.
• Experience working with carriers, MGAs, delegated authority/program business, or specialty distribution.
• Deep understanding of the US commercial insurance landscape and carrier appetite.
• Experience negotiating or managing carrier relationships and program structures.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships across the US insurance market.
• Lead sourcing, structuring and execution of capacity arrangements for Program Solutions clients.
• Lead negotiations relating to carrier agreements and fronting structures.
• Partner with leadership to develop scalable capacity strategies across the portfolio.
• Provide market insight on conditions, dynamics and trends.
• Represent Gallagher Re Global Program Solutions in client and carrier engagements.
• Support business development across program business and distribution.
• Act as an SME on delegated authority structures and capacity strategy.
