BOLAB Systems GmbH seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to grow its US customer base from Michigan. The role emphasizes new customer acquisition, presenting power electronics test systems, and building relationships with automotive, aerospace, and research institutions.

You will coordinate with HQ in Germany to implement a structured US sales strategy, provide pre‑sales support, and attend industry events across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) is required or strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in B2B technical sales or business development.
• Ability to independently develop new customer relationships and open new markets.
• Strong understanding of power electronics systems or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• High degree of self-motivation and entrepreneurial thinking.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of US customer base with a focus on new business acquisition.
• Identify, target, and qualify new sales opportunities in automotive, aerospace, and research institutions.
• Promote power electronics test systems through technical presentations and direct sales activities.
• Develop and execute a structured US sales strategy in coordination with HQ in Germany.
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
• Provide pre-sales support including solution proposals, documentation, and pricing.
• Represent BOLAB at industry events and customer visits across North America.
• Establish local sales structure and input future growth for US presence.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product strategy.
• Report on sales pipeline and market insights to leadership.
