Job summary

Nofence is seeking a People Operations Partner to lead the US people function, integrating it with our global People team. You will own onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, and compliance for a growing US team while aligning with global processes.

You will drive structured recruiting, support employee relations, and contribute to culture initiatives in a remote-first environment with occasional travel to company events. This role reports to the VP People and collaborates with MD US.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in people roles at a scaling US company or start-up.
• Solid knowledge of multi-state US employment law and practical navigation experience.
• Hands-on experience administering US employee benefits (health insurance, leave including FMLA) in HiBob or Rippling or similar HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee experience from onboarding to day-to-day people support.
• Run structured recruiting processes and manage candidate experience.
• Ensure compliance across multi-state employment, taxes, and contractor classification.
• Support culture initiatives and regular US team gatherings.
