Job summary

Reaktor in North America is hiring a dedicated People Operations lead to own the employee lifecycle in the US and Canada, from pre-boarding through offboarding. You will coordinate payroll, contracts, benefits, immigration, and data quality, while partnering with global centers of expertise to keep local practice aligned with the world.

This role sits inside a flat, fast-moving environment with a strong emphasis on autonomy, valid legal grounding, and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Over 5+ years HR/generalist or People Operations experience in the US.
• Knowledge of US employment law across states; Canadian knowledge advantageous.
• Experience managing payroll, immigration, benefits, and external partners.
• Strong data accuracy and documentation discipline.
• Ability to handle confidential matters and turn vague situations into facts with options.

Responsibilities

• Lead local payroll coordination, immigration, benefits management, and contracts.
• Maintain accurate North America HR data in HiBob and ensure correct reporting.
• Provide first line support on policy, benefits, payroll, and leave.
• Collaborate with the People Partner to align US/Canada processes with global standards.
• Maintain NY office operations and contribute to local events and culture.
