Job summary

inforcer is seeking a US-based People Generalist to shape how we support and grow our teams. This is our first dedicated People hire in the US, hybrid role based in Tampa, reporting to the VP of People.

You will partner with UK team and US leaders to build scalable processes and an outstanding employee experience across onboarding, engagement, performance and lifecycle management. You’ll manage payroll, benefits, compliance, I-9, reporting, and HRIS data, drive policy development, and help embed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a broad People Generalist.
• Strong multi-state US employment knowledge.
• Experience in a fast-growing global start-up or scale-up.
• Ability to operate standalone and build scalable processes from scratch.
• Hands-on HR operations including payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and 401(k) administration.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary People partner for US operations, supporting onboarding, engagement and lifecycle management.
• Manage payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employment compliance with external providers.
• Develop and maintain US policy suite and employee handbook aligned with global approach.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reporting to inform People decisions.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for US employees, including I-9 and compliance reporting.
• Partner with UK team and US leaders to drive performance reviews and pulse surveys.
