Job summary

Cox Farms is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage the full US payroll cycle for our Atlanta operations. The role partners with HR, Finance, operations, and payroll vendors to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years' payroll experience in US payroll, be proficient with ADP or similar systems, and maintain meticulous data accuracy while supporting audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing or related Total Rewards functions.
• Working knowledge of US payroll fundamentals, wage and hour rules, garnishments, and deductions.
• Experience using ADP, Workday, or similar enterprise payroll systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities under supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office systems.

Responsibilities

• Process US payroll end to end biweekly (and weekly where applicable) using ADP Workforce Now.
• Enter and audit employee changes (new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations) in ADP.
• Calculate and apply off-cycle payments and corrections following procedures.
• Generate and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accurate month-end reporting.
• Create and maintain SOPs and payroll-related documentation.
