Job summary

Atlas Global Talent is seeking an Account Executive in Laredo, Texas with freight brokerage experience to develop new business and manage a diverse client portfolio across US/Mexico cross-border freight.

You will prospect, quote, price, and negotiate with shippers and carriers, grow revenue, and coordinate with operations to deliver transportation solutions while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics, transportation or freight brokerage sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Experience generating new business within transportation or logistics.
• Knowledge of Truckload and LTL freight.
• Experience with freight pricing, quoting and rate negotiation.
• Knowledge of US/Mexico cross-border transportation.
• Familiarity with intra-Mexico freight.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and developing new customers
• Building and managing your own portfolio of accounts
• Growing revenue and identifying additional opportunities within existing customers
• Selling Truckload, LTL and additional transportation solutions
• Developing competitive pricing based on current capacity and market conditions
• Preparing and presenting freight quotes
• Working closely with carrier and operations teams to secure capacity
• Managing customer relationships and reviewing account performance
• Identifying opportunities to improve service and increase profitability
• Supporting freight moving between the United States and Mexico
• Working with domestic transportation requirements within Mexico
• Maintaining an active sales pipeline and providing regular forecasts
• Tracking performance against commercial targets and KPIs
• Keeping customer and sales information accurate within internal systems
• Collaborating with teams across the business to ensure successful execution of customer freight
