Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a Founding U.S. GTM & Partnerships Lead to build the U.S. side of a U.S.-China mini-drama ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with a China-based GTM counterpart to recruit producers, app developers, directors and talent, and to close distribution and monetization partnerships.

You’ll bridge U.S. and Chinese production capacity, helping content resonate with U.S. audiences at scale, in a hands-on 0→1 role reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in GTM, BD, partnerships or content acquisition.
• Senior level with a proven US-China cross-border track record.
• Fluent English and Mandarin, with cross-market credibility.

Responsibilities

• Map and build the U.S. mini-drama ecosystem and pipeline with cross‑border alignment.
• Sign and activate producers and content partners for US audiences.
• Launch and manage the founding partner program with incentives and traffic.
• Close app, monetization, and distribution partnerships with Nova ad sales.
• Connect US creative talent with Chinese production partners.
• Build the GTM engine: segmentation, pitches, events, CRM, forecasting.
• Shape product input from producer needs and market insights.
