Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a Founding U.S. GTM & Partnerships Lead for mini‑dramas in New York with remote flexibility. You will build the U.S. ecosystem from the ground up, recruit top producers, and establish a high‑value partner network to drive monetization and distribution for US audiences.

You will work with a China-based counterpart to align GTM strategy, sign partners, and shape the product with market insights from the US ecosystem. Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive track record in mini-drama/short-drama business development.
• Senior GTM/BD/partnerships experience with content acquisition.
• Strong network across US and China, especially content partners.
• Fluent English; Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred for cross-border work.
• Proven ability to source, negotiate and close partnerships.
• Experience building ecosystems, events, and CRM-driven pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Map and build the U.S. mini-drama ecosystem and pipeline.
• Recruit high‑quality producers and content partners for US market.
• Design and run a founding partner program with incentives.
• Close app, monetization, and distribution partnerships with Nova team.
• Coordinate cross‑border deals between US creatives and Chinese partners.
• Own the U.S. GTM engine: segmentation, outreach, events, CRM, forecasting.
• Contribute product input from market insights and partner needs.
