Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a founding U.S. GTM & Partnerships Lead to build the U.S. side from the ground up, collaborating with a China-based counterpart. You will recruit producers, activate partners and close distribution, app-growth and monetization partnerships to drive NewsBreak and NDot’s growth.

You’ll work hands-on across leadership, product, engineering and ad sales, shaping partnerships that resonate with U.S. audiences and scale content production.

Qualifications

• Must have deep experience in mini-drama/short-drama ecosystem and a proven track record in GTM, BD, partnerships or content acquisition.
• Excellent network in the U.S.-China cross-border business.
• Fluent English and Mandarin with cross-market credibility.
• Proven skill at sourcing, negotiating and closing partnerships; activating producers after signing.
• Experience building ecosystems including events, market mapping and CRM discipline.
• Strong commercial judgment, persistence, and bias for action in a startup setting.

Responsibilities

• Map and build the U.S. ecosystem with a prioritized pipeline of producers, developers, directors and talent.
• Sign and activate content partners, prioritizing content for U.S. audiences.
• Design and run a founding-partner program with incentives, revenue share and promotional traffic.
• Close app and monetization partnerships with developers and advertisers.
• Coordinate cross-border partnerships between U.S. creatives and Chinese production partners.
• Build the GTM engine: segmentation, outreach, events, PR, materials, CRM and forecasting.
• Shape the product by feeding market insights into product growth and localization.
