Job summary

Leica Biosystems in Deer Park, IL, seeks a US Commercial Finance Manager to provide financial leadership for the US Commercial organization. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Service to drive profitable growth through analytics, pricing governance, and performance management.

This on-site role reports to the US Commercial Finance Director. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial finance or FP&A, strong communication skills, and experience with ERP/SAP, Power BI, or OneStream.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5+ years in commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or business analysis; OR a Master's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of commercial drivers: orders, revenue, funnel, pricing, profitability, and customer metrics.
Experience analyzing performance, identifying risks/opportunities, and influencing decisions with data-driven insights.
Ability to partner with sales/commercial leaders in a fast-paced environment and provide strategic guidance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for executives.

Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to manage reporting and KPIs across orders, revenue, funnel, pricing, productivity, and profitability.
Lead pricing, margin, and customer profitability analysis to drive growth and competitiveness.
Provide financial oversight of investments including incentive programs, marketing initiatives, and customer programs.
Support month-end/quarter-end reviews with variance analysis, risk assessment, and action planning.
Develop business cases and analyses for strategic initiatives like territory optimization and growth investments.
