Job summary

Leica Biosystems, Evanston, IL, seeks a US Commercial Finance Manager to drive profitable growth with Sales, Marketing, Service and Commercial Leadership through analytics, pricing governance, and financial oversight of commercial activities. It is an on-site role based in Deer Park, IL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5+ years of related experience.
Strong understanding of orders, revenue, pricing, profitability, and customer metrics.
Experience influencing decisions with data-driven insights.
Ability to partner with sales and commercial leaders in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with commercial leadership to manage reporting and KPIs across orders, revenue, funnel, pricing, productivity, and profitability, delivering analysis and insights that support growth and financial performance.
Lead pricing, margin, and customer profitability analysis to evaluate commercial actions and optimize profitable growth while maintaining market competitiveness.
Provide financial oversight and analysis of commercial investments, including incentive programs, marketing initiatives, customer programs, and other expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets and expected returns.
Support month-end and quarter-end business reviews through variance analysis, risk and opportunity assessment, and action planning to achieve commercial and financial commitments.
Develop business cases and financial analyses for strategic initiatives, including territory optimization, resource allocation, growth investments, productivity improvements, market expansion, and process standardization efforts.
