Heriot Brown is partnering with a fast-growing software business to recruit its second in-house legal hire to own the US contracting workload. Preference for New York-based candidates, with remote options for strong applicants elsewhere in the US.

You will join a growing US team and work closely with the UK-based first in-house lawyer. You’ll draft and negotiate software/SaaS agreements, advise on commercial issues from US sales, support AI, data and privacy matters, and help develop practical

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial contracting experience (software/SaaS)
• Ability to lead negotiations and advise stakeholders independently
• Interest in AI, data, and privacy

Responsabilités

• Drafting and negotiating software and SaaS agreements with mid-market and large enterprise customers
• Advising on commercial issues arising from US sales activity
