Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to support its US commercial team. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating SaaS, licensing, and enterprise agreements across North America, while navigating evolving AI‑related legal and regulatory frameworks.

You will partner with sales, BD, and operations to enable high‑growth GTM initiatives, advise on risk, and contribute to scalable contract templates and policies. Remote in the United States.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. State Bar required (NY/CA preferred).
• 6+ years of post‑qualification experience in technology/SaaS, in‑house preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to draft/negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, data protection, and IP.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, licensing, and technology agreements.
• Collaborate with sales, BD, and operations on GTM initiatives.
• Monitor evolving privacy, cybersecurity, and data‑transfer regulations.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and regional contract standards.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to enable responsible growth.
• Help scale the Legal Team’s commercial function across NA.
