Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced U.S. Benefits & Retirement Administration Manager to lead governance, administration, and continuous improvement of U.S. benefits programs, including Health & Welfare, 401(k), and executive retirement offerings.

The role will lead a team of benefit administration specialists, manage external vendors, and partner with HR leadership to implement new programs while ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRS, and DOL requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in benefits or total rewards operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership or leading complex programs.
• Experience managing external vendors/third-party admins.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills.
• Proven project management and process improvement experience.
• Located in the US; in-office 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of U.S. benefits programs (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSAs, COBRA, 401(k)).
• Lead and develop a team of benefit administration specialists.
• Serve as relationship owner for third-party benefit administrator.
• Oversee SOWs, costs, contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Develop operational strategies to improve employee experience, efficiency, and compliance.
• Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities via analytics.
• Partner with Total Rewards COE and HR leadership on new programs.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate with HR pillars to resolve.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRS, and DOL.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement and transformations.
