Job summary

Schneider Electric in Boston, MA is seeking a Retirement Plans Specialist to oversee governance, administration, and compliance of U.S. and Canadian retirement programs.

You will manage pension administration activities, audits and regulatory filings, and vendor relationships to ensure accurate, compliant plan operations and a strong participant experience. The role requires collaborating with TPAs, actuaries, auditors and regulators, with a focus on health and welfare filings and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pension administration, retirement plan compliance, or related area.
• Experience coordinating financial audits and regulatory filings for retirement benefit plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing administration of U.S. and Canadian defined benefit pension plans.
• Lead annual audits of U.S. pension and 401(k) plans and support Canadian audits.
• Prepare and submit Form 5500, SARs, PBGC premiums and other regulatory filings.
• Manage relationships with TPAs, actuaries, auditors, trustees and third-party administrators.
• Support pension wind-up, funding reports, and regulatory filings for health and welfare plans.
