Job summary

EPRI is seeking a Manager of Accounting in Charlotte, NC, to lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for its U.S. operations.

You will oversee the monthly close, balance sheet integrity, internal controls, and collaboration with business leaders to drive operational and financial outcomes. The role requires 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience and 3+ years in supervision, with strong US GAAP knowledge and ERP proficiency (SAP).

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with SAP and advanced Excel for analysis and reporting.
• MBA or CPA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate and US accounting function for EPRI US, including fixed assets, capital, and cash movement.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate reporting and variance commentary.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations, reserves, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor internal controls over financial reporting and coordinate remediation of deficiencies.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
