Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Urology, seeks an Academic or Clinical Program Management Associate to provide administrative oversight, coordination and curricular expertise for the Urology Residency Program. This role manages day-to-day operations and supports the Program Director to ensure compliance with ACGME and related requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of related administrative and program management experience.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Desirable: experience with graduate medical education programs, MedHub, ICON, MAUI; experience with students; knowledge of policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative oversight, coordination, leadership and curricular expertise for the Department of Urology Residency Program.
• Manage the day-to-day operations for the Urology Residency Program.
• Assist the Program Director on accreditation and site visits; document ACGME recertification.
• Gather data and prepare reports for accreditation and regulatory agencies.
• Assist with recruitment, rotations, and learner onboarding; oversee schedules and compliance.
• Maintain residency evaluation systems and prepare summaries for faculty review.
• Develop residency training materials and program policies; oversee budget and purchases.
