Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Urology, seeks an Academic or Clinical Program Management Associate to provide administrative oversight, coordination, leadership and curricular expertise for the Urology Residency Program.

This hybrid role supports on-campus and Iowa-based remote work with annual policy-based reviews for remote arrangements. The position reports to the Urology Residency Program and collaborates across departments to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of related administrative and program management experience.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in computer software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations for the Urology Residency Program.
• Assist the Program Director to ensure compliance with ACGME, RRC, ABMS requirements and documentation for site visits.
• Possess knowledge of ACGME and program-specific curricular requirements.
• Develop learning objectives for each residency rotation and coordinate recruitment processes.
• Advise applicants and serve as primary contact for interviewees and current residents.
• Coordinate with departments on curricular matters, rotations, and absences.
• Oversee resident licensure and training certification renewals (BLS, ACLS, ALSO, ATLS, NRP, PALS).
• Prepare residency evaluations and annual program reports for accreditation bodies.
• Maintain the residency evaluation system and residency curriculum materials.
