Job summary

Hawaii Pacific Health’s Straub Benioff Medical Center in Honolulu seeks a Patient Service Representative to support the Urology department. You will interview, register, admit and update patients’ records, and serve as a liaison between patients and clinicians with a focus on friendly, accurate service.

The role is full-time with a day shift (10 hours) at Straub Benioff. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, one year of clerical healthcare experience, and basic computer skills;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clerical support in a health care setting or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, register, admit, update and create patients’ medical records for the Urology department.
• Process professional/technical fees generated by department providers in a timely, accurate manner.
• Perform cash handling and collection while delivering friendly, high-quality service to patients and families.
