Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Physician Associate to join our urology practice that includes 3 physicians and three other dedicated APPs. Call is a very manageable 1:6 weekends and 1:4 weekly workday, allowing for a true work-life balance. The practice serves adult and pediatric patients, with a strong referral base.

The PA will provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care under physician supervision, in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Physician Associate (PA) certification with Maine license or eligibility.
• Clinical experience in urology preferred but not required.
• Strong collaboration with physicians and APPs in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a physician, provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care.
• Join a urology practice with 3 physicians and 3 other APPs; support both adult and pediatric patients.
• Participate in scheduling and call coverage (1:6 weekends, 1:4 weekly).
