MaineGeneral Gastroenterology is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join our busy practice serving patients in the Kennebec Valley. Outpatient work will be done at the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville, Maine, with inpatient work at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

  • BC/BE Gastroenterologist required.
  • MD or DO degree and board certification or eligibility.
  • Licensed to practice in Maine or eligible for licensure in Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide gastroenterology services in outpatient and inpatient settings as described.
  • Collaborate with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to support physician team.
  • Deliver care at Thayer Center for Health in Waterville and Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

Job Description: MaineGeneral Gastroenterology is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join our busy practice serving patients in the Kennebec Valley. Outpatient work will be done at the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville Maine. It is the largest freestanding outpatient center in Maine and houses the Waterville office of the practice and an outpatient endoscopy unit. Inpatient work is at our newest state-of-the‑art medical center, the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, Maine. The practice boasts a team of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners that are second to none to support the physician team.
