Job summary

Foundation Health invites applications for a Practice Supervisor to lead our Urology Team, overseeing daily operations and delivering excellent service to patients and staff. The role focuses on non-physician staff supervision, scheduling, resource management and workflow optimization, with a full-time 5x8 workweek, Monday through Friday, in an exempt capacity.

Prior healthcare leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires literacy, communication and math skills normally demonstrated at the level of an Associate’s Degree.
• Certain assignments may require current certification as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or LPN license.
• Requires two years of experience in a physician's office or medical environment with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of non-physician staff ensuring high productivity and reviews operations.
• Selects, trains, coaches, motivates, conducts performance evaluations and directs staff workflow; schedules staff across offices.
• Manages resources, equipment, supplies and staffing levels to meet workload and provide safe patient care.
• Acts as liaison between non-physician staff and physicians to ensure excellent patient service and information flow.
• Maintains office policies and procedures in line with physician, facility, and regulatory requirements.
• Determines maintenance and repair needs and coordinates resources; ensures areas are stocked and accessible.
• Supports process improvement and quality management initiatives with staff.
