Job summary

The APP collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients, participates in perioperative care, discharge planning, and follow-up. Teaching residents and students is included.

Qualifications

• CCNE accredited nursing program with MSN.
• National APRN certification.
• Licensure as RN/APRN in West Virginia.
• BLS with ALS training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology care in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Complete daily rounds and pre-procedure evaluations.
• Coordinate perioperative care and discharge planning.
• Order tests and consults per established guidelines.
• Communicate results and coordinate follow-up care.
• Educate residents and medical/nursing students.
