Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or higher with AP education program and Texas BON authorization
• ARC-PA accredited PA program completion and eligibility for licensure
• Current BLS certification as required by UT Southwestern

Responsibilities

• Deliver hospital-based care focusing on patient throughput, care coordination, and efficiency.
• Take medical histories, perform exams, order/interpret tests, treat illnesses, prescribe medications.
• Document comprehensive physical examinations and age/diagnosis-appropriate assessments.
• Develop and implement patient plans of care using evidence-based practice.
• Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Engage in quality initiatives and participate in research projects.
