Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urology team on the main campus. The APP will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in the outpatient setting. Urology experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in Urology strongly preferred.
• Candidates with relevant specialty practice experience may be considered.
• NCCPA board certification and state licensure requirements as applicable (PA or NP).

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Orders and interprets laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic studies.
• Provides patient and family education and counseling.
• Participates in quality initiatives and clinical research as applicable.
