Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Urology team. This outpatient role supports care across multiple clinics and collaborates closely with surgeons to deliver comprehensive patient management.

The ideal candidate has urology experience, current BLS, and a master’s degree in nursing or an accredited PA program, with Texas licensure eligibility and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing (APRN) or PA program accredited by ARC-PA.
• Certification/licensure as per Texas Board requirements (Nurse Practitioner or PA).
• BLS certification required per UT Southwestern policy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts outpatient assessments and examinations.
• Collaborates with Urology team to develop and implement care plans.
• Orders and interprets labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Provides patient education and counseling to families and caregivers.
• Participates in quality improvement and clinical research activities.
