Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will support clinical operations, collaborate with providers, and help maintain imaging workflows while adhering to ALARA and safety standards.

The role offers opportunities to flex into MA duties and MR tasks, with a focus on accurate imaging and efficient patient care. BLS and ARRT certifications are required or obtained within onboarding; 1+ year urgent care

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and active state license as required.
• BLS certification current or to be obtained within onboarding period.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties as needed.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams following ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care.
• Support urgent care operations and imaging workflows.
• May flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care).
• Assist with MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
