Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to balance high-quality imaging with clinical support duties in our urgent care centers. You’ll perform diagnostic radiology exams, follow ALARA, and collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care.

You may flex into MA duties such as triage, labs, venipuncture and wound care when not imaging. CT or MRI experience is preferred, ARRT certification and BLS are required, and you’ll work evenings and weekends with PPE and safety

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified in good standing; Radiologic Technologist (RT/Rad Tech/X-Ray Technologist) license where required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
