Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will support operations, follow ALARA, and collaborate with providers to deliver timely patient care.

You’ll flex into MA duties, including triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care, and MR support like insurance verification and registration. Prior radiology experience, CT, or MRI is preferred, with BLS and ARRT certification in good standing.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified RT in good standing; state license where required.
• BLS certification required or obtained during onboarding.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams and support urgent care operations.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Assist with MA duties including triage, labs, venipuncture, and wounds.
• Support MR tasks such as insurance verification and registration.
• Maintain QC and compliance logs for equipment.
