VillageMD in New Jersey is seeking a full-time seasonal Scribe to capture accurate documentation of patient visits in the EMR, assist physicians with basic care, and support patient flow and lab follow-up in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (undergraduate degree a plus), strong communication skills, English proficiency, and BLS certification at hire. This role offers $18.75 per hour with a schedule that includes weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Friendly and professional with excellent bedside manner.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; English proficiency required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; team oriented.

Aufgaben

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient visit in the EMR.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Assist site management with directing patient flow, inventory, and follow-up on labs.
• Ensure site lab compliance with Department of Health (DOH) Regulations.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, x-rays or other facilities on site as needed.
• Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional working environment.
• Provide compassionate care to our patients.
