Job summary

VillageMD in New Jersey is seeking a Scribe to support physicians in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will capture accurate patient visit data into the EMR, assist with basic care, and help manage patient flow and labs.

This role offers exposure to healthcare operations, DOH compliance, and a pathway for CNA/MA/EMT careers; weekend shifts may be included, and BLS certification is required at the time of hire.

Qualifications

• High School or GED; college degree a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual skills may be required depending on site.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Flexible with weekend work and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate documentation of patient visits into the EMR promptly.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Direct patient flow, inventory management and follow up on labs.
• Ensure lab compliance with DOH regulations and logbook tasks.
• Provide compassionate patient service and adhere to protocols.
• Maintain a clean, stocked and professional clinical environment.
