Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED, Undergraduate degree a plus.
• Friendly and professional with excellent bedside manner.
• Flexible with full-time work schedule including a weekend day.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• English language (speaking and writing) skills required
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures (e.g., UA, EKG, lab processing).
• Ensuring DOH compliance of site lab and exam rooms.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, x-rays or other facilities on site.
• Maintain quick pace in a fast paced urgent care facility for the duration of scheduled shift.
• Facilitate diagnostic tests and referrals to medical specialists as needed.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and physicians under physician guidance.
