Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Scribe to accurately document patient visits in the EMR and to assist physicians with basic care and procedures. The role supports patient flow, inventory management, and lab follow-up while ensuring DOH compliance at the site.

You will provide compassionate service to patients, adhere to established protocols, and work in a fast-paced urgent care environment with a team dedicated to quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.
• Excellent bedside manner and professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bilingual abilities preferred depending on site location.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Team player capable of adapting in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Computer literacy and medical software familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate, timely documentation of patient visits in EMR.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow, inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site labs and exam rooms.
