Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is hiring an Urgent Care Customer Service Representative to provide clerical and patient access support in our Urgent Care clinic. You will greet patients, collect and verify information, schedule appointments, and guide them through the registration process.

You will also collect payments, explain co-pays, and balance cash at shift end, while maintaining a clean, welcoming front desk and using the practice management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Medical Terminology training or work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets and assists visitors and patients, promoting a positive, calm atmosphere.
• Guides patients through the registration process and collects demographic and insurance information.
• Maintains accurate information in the practice management system and updates records.
• Collects co-pays and explains payment amounts due at encounter; balances cash drawer at shift start/end.
• Answers inquiries and routes calls using defined scripts; schedules appointments.
