Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Terminology training or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists visitors and patients, promoting a positive atmosphere.
• Guides patients through registration and explains policies.
• Collects patient demographics, insurance and updates records in PM system.
• Notifies patients of payment amounts due (co-pays, deductibles).
• Counts and balances patient case drawer and refers to billing as needed.
