American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to balance high-quality X-ray imaging with clinical support duties in an urgent care setting.

The role involves performing diagnostic radiology exams, assisting with MA duties during downtime, and collaborating with providers to ensure timely care. 1+ year imaging experience is preferred and ARRT/BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in good standing and state license where required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1+ year urgent care imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely following ALARA.
• Work as X-Ray Technologist supporting urgent care operations; assist in MA duties.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Support MR tasks like insurance verification and payment collection.
• Maintain equipment quality control and compliance logs.
