Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) in the United States is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our urgent care team. The RT will perform diagnostic X-ray exams, maintain ALARA standards, and support clinical duties as needed, including triage, labs, and venipuncture.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and experience in radiology with a preference for CT/MRI exposure. You will work in a fast-paced environment with evenings and weekend coverage and opportunities for CEUs.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified in good standing and licensed where required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Willing to cover MA/MR duties as needed.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
