Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our urgent care team. You will balance high‑quality X-ray imaging with hands‑on clinical duties, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in a fast-paced setting.

ARRT certification and BLS are required; 1+ year imaging experience in urgent care or ER is preferred. You will rotate through imaging, MA duties, MR tasks, and maintain QC logs while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (R.T. allowing state license where required).
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Support MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Assist MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
