Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging and support urgent care operations. You will work alongside providers to deliver timely care and ensure patient imaging meets ALARA standards.

In addition to imaging, you may assist with MA clinical duties such as triage, labs, venipuncture, and wound care when not performing imaging. Experience with CT or MRI is preferred and ongoing education opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified (R.T. (R)) in good standing; radiologic technologist license as required by state.
• Active BLS certification or obtain within onboarding period.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-Ray imaging and support urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology exams safely following ALARA guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care.
• Assist in MA clinical duties such as triage, labs, venipuncture, and wound care when not imaging.
• Support MR tasks including insurance verification, registration, and payment collection.
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
