Job summary

American Family Care in Alabama is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams and support urgent care operations. You’ll work with providers, ensure ALARA, and may take on MA duties when not imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified RT with current standing is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 1+ year of urgent care imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
