Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology exams and support urgent care operations. You will balance quality imaging with clinical duties in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and 1+ year imaging in urgent care. You may cover MA duties as needed and assist with MR tasks, insurance verification, and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified in good standing; Radiologic Technologist (RT) license as required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year urgent care imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely following ALARA.
• Support urgent care operations as X-Ray Technologist.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Support MR tasks (verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
