Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to provide clinical and administrative imaging support in an urgent care environment. You will work under supervision of a Provider/NP/PA, delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring accurate imaging and documentation.

The role requires ARRT and state licensure, as well as TB/IV certification. Responsibilities include order monitoring, patient positioning, image labeling, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with the Radiology team.

Qualifications

• ARRT license required and active.
• State license required and active.
• TB and IV certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist as per job description.
• Provide clinical and administrative support adhering to policies and procedures.
• Monitor and track x-ray orders for timely completion and submission.
• Assist patients with proper positioning during exams to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Label laterality correctly and ensure proper technique for each exam.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and health information management standards.
• Review exam images for provider initial reads and forward to Radiology group for over-read.
• Maintain equipment and report issues to Imaging Director for rectification.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff and teammates.
• Maintain positive relations with colleagues and patients.
