Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to balance high‑quality imaging with hands‑on clinical duties in an urgent care setting. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and preferably 1+ year radiology experience in an urgent care or ER environment.

You will perform X‑ray exams, support triage and labs, and collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care. This on‑site position offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for CEUs and advancement.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in good standing and state license as required.
• BLS certification current.
• 1+ year urgent care imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams following ALARA.
• Work as X-ray technologist supporting urgent care operations.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Assist with MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
