Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency is essential.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine is required.
• Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain one is necessary.
• DEA registration must be obtained by start date.
• Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Provide efficient, evidence-based urgent care services.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between urgent care locations as scheduled.
• Participate in the education and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

Job description

We are seeking a flexibleand patient-focused Urgent Care Physician to join a busy, multi-site urgentcare network serving the Martinsburg, WV area. This opportunity is ideal forphysicians who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and value variety intheir work setting.

The Urgent Care Physicianwill provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in awalk-in urgent care setting. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts perweek, rotating to ensure coverage across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.Candidates must have open availability and be comfortable floating betweenmultiple clinic locations.

The clinics are open 7 daysper week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and are closed only on Thanksgiving andChristmas.
