Qualifications
Must hold an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
Completion of a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency is essential.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine is required.
Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain one is necessary.
DEA registration must be obtained by start date.
Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
Provide efficient, evidence-based urgent care services.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float between urgent care locations as scheduled.
Participate in the education and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
